Craft in America is more than just a tv series, book, and this web portal. And our educational component goes beyond online lesson plans for Grades 1-12. Our new addition is the Craft in America Study Center on West 3rd Street, near the Beverly Center, in the heart of Los Angeles' arts and design district.
Here, in one place, you’ll find extensive archives – over a thousand books and videos – for serious research or casual study. Plus scores of objects featured in the Craft in America documentaries.
If you’re an art enthusiast or school group wanting to learn more about craft, come visit. And check out our lecture, demonstration, and exhibition schedule below. Stop by, meet the artists, and see their work up close. Discover, firsthand, the thrill of the handmade.
