Alice Simpson
After a career as a graphic designer and illustrator, Alice Simpson entered the book art scene in 1992 with a colorful and romantic homage to ballroom, with books such as Swing!, Dirty Dancing, Rumba, and Tango Bar.
Simpson’s work was recently selected for inclusion in 500 Handmade Books, published by Lark Books. Simpson’s books are internationally exhibited, in public and private collections including Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts, Victoria and Albert Museum National Art Library, and the Center for Book Arts, NY, among others.
