Antonio Prieto
Prieto was a nationally-influential ceramics teacher based in the Bay Area. After serving in WWII, he studied at Alfred and then developed the ceramics program at CCAC before succeeding F. Carlton Ball at Mills College in 1950. He brought abstraction from modern art to his surface treatments.
