Beatrice Wood
Wood’s work melded Dadaism with Eastern philosophy and folk art. First a painter and performer, Wood entered into ceramics through a course at Hollywood High, later studying with the Natzlers and building a studio in Ojai.
“The rebel in any field, daring to explore imaginative concepts, leads the way.” – BW
