Richard Notkin
Richard Notkin is a ceramic artist who works in Helena, MT. Influenced by the tradition of Yixing pottery, his work is a vehicle for political commentary.
He received his BFA from Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from the University of California, Davis. His work can be found in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and the Mint Museum of Craft + Design.
