Philip Simmons would have been 103 years old today

Master blacksmith Philip Simmons (1912-2009) created more than five hundred pieces of ornamental wrought iron gates, fences, balconies, and window grills that adorn Charleston, South Carolina. His artistry has made that city more beautiful and has inspired craftsmen to continue his legacy.
