Summer Institute 2017

The SummerStudio 2017 is underway at Kutztown University. SummerStudio is a partnership with Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, National Art Education Association and Craft In America.

One of the workshops was taught by Julie Chen, who showed students different book arts making techniques.

Jeff Oestreich taught the ceramics class where they learned how to make faceted ceramic pieces.

Janna Gregonis led the jewelry making workshop and the students created bezels.

In Terese Agnew’s class, the students learned dyeing techniques and created a dyed banner dedicated to water issues.
