Drop-in Workshop: Needle Felting
Saturday, December 17, 2016
3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Here at the Center we like to encourage our visitors to immerse themselves in the arts and crafts by viewing special exhibitions, sorting through our library, and working with their hands to learn about different craft techniques. Therefore, the Craft in America Center would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, December 17 in order to make your own needle felted project. Needle felting is the art of interlocking wool fibers with a barbed needle.
For the activity we will be supplying roving wool, felting needles, craft felt, and foam backing in order to create our own images inspired by the Teller sisters’ “Two Grey Hills” Navajo theme depicted in the exhibition.
All supplies will be provided and this event is FREE. Bring yourself, your family, and friends.
If you have any questions concerning this event please feel free to contact us at rsvp@craftinamerica.org
