Workshop: Mother’s Day Monotype Print

Please join us for a Mother’s Day print workshop at the Craft in America Center. In this workshop, you’ll focus on pattern and color using a small hand-cranked press, stencils, paint, brushes and more to create a one-of-a-kind print. We’ll be using a small plexiglass printing plate and water-soluble oil ink. (Plates, ink, fine papers, tools, gloves, cards and envelopes provided!) A monotype is an image made on a smooth plate that is then printed using a printing press or hand pressure.

Fee: $20 which covers materials.
