Artist Statement:
We are at a chapter in our history that once again acknowledges how racial injustice is deeply woven into the fabric of this nation. We are at a turning point. We must unravel those strands of injustice. As Paul Robeson said, “The artist must elect to fight for Freedom or for Slavery. I have made my choice. I had no alternative.”
