K. Lee Manuel
K. Lee Manuel (1936-2003) was a fiber artist who is most well known for her leather work, suede garments, and painted feather collars. She was a California native, who made Santa Cruz her home and studio. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
She has been included in numerous shows in the United States and abroad. Her work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Arts and Design and at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
